St. Benedict’s Monastery Corte, Carmen Cebu, Philippines While on the way to the meeting of Benedictines from East Asia and Oceania, David called in to see our new foundation in Cebu. The Monastery was founded in 2000 by our Abbot General, D. Andrea Pantaloni. Three monks from our Indian Community in Makkiyad formed the original community: Fathers Thomas, Joseph and Bernard. There are now a group of aspirants, novices and simply professed members in the community.
